The Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence, Mrs. Sonia Kottegoda made a visit to the Abhimansala l in Anuradhapura on 11 July 2019. She made the visit with intention to look into the welfare of the War Hero inmates of the wellness resort.
Abhimansala' is a wellness resort exclusively designed to house dependent War Heroes for the rest of their natural lives.
During her visit to the wellness home Mrs. Kottegoda inquired into the well-being of the inmates and also had discussions with the authorities of the home regarding their welfare.
