SLA’s Beat Group entertains residents during curfew
April 06, 2020Sri Lanka Army’s (SLA) ‘Beat Group’, which started entertaining residents who follow the Government’s request ‘Stay at Home’ to support the spread of COVID-19, staged mobile musical sessions near the apartments in Havlock city and Rajagiriya , yesterday.
The Army Beat Group on the guidelines given by SLA Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva, who is the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID -19 Outbreak, showcased their musical talents during the session, in which the residents also joined to sing and dance with popular singers.
Vocalists, Bhathiya, Santhush and Umariya Sinhawansa also joined the Army band to entertain the residents with their popular hits.
