SLN facilitated the crew exchange process of foreign ships in Galle Harbour
May 29, 2020Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) assisted to transfer a group of personnel belong to three foreign ships at the Port of Galle, who arrived in the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, on-board Boeing 737 aircraft, from Brussels, Belgium, to reach their respective ships in Sri Lanka, yesterday (28).
SLN also accompanied the foreign crew, those who were remaining on-board during the past from same vessels back to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, enabling them to reach their destinations abroad. Accordingly 35 of them were left the island during the crew exchange process.
According to the healthcare guidelines, SLN had disinfected the 41 member group arrived in the island, prior their departure to respective ships in Galle.
