Search operations for gunmen who opened fire at Moratuwa
May 30, 2020An unidentified group of gunmen, who arrived in a car has opened fire towards a restaurant in Soysapura in Mount Lavinia police division 12:30 am yesterday (29) said, Police Media Spokesman Superintendent of Police (SP) Jaliya Senarathne speaking to defence.lk.
SP Senarathne said, a Police Sergeant and two Constables those who were on duty, in the close proximity, at the time of fire, were interdicted since yesterday over the incident.
Mentioning that, same property was damaged by an unidentified group in a previous occasion, he said, further investigations are being conducted into the incident.
