New STF Commandant pays courtesy call on Defence Secretary
June 15, 2020The new Special Task Force (STF) Commandant DIG Waruna Jayasundara paid a courtesy call on the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry this morning (June 15).
A cordial discussion was held between the two officials and it was followed by an exchange of mementos signifying the occasion.
DIG Jayasundara, who was the in-charge of the Western Province (North), was appointed as the new Commandant of the Police Special Task Force (STF) on June 10.
