Anti-drugs Operations
October 19, 2020The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic Bureau conducted anti-drugs operations last week, and arrested a total of 57 persons including drug peddlers, following an effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 116.559 kilos of Heroin, 12.270 kilos of Local Cannabis, 57.991 Kilos of Karala Cannabis, 50 packets of illegal drug tablets and 210 litres of Goda were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
Compared to the last week, the arrested amount of Heroin and Karala Cannabis are higher.
