A Russian scientist presented an exclusive detective equipment which can sense explosives, radiations and chemicals presented to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s Office today (27).
This unique device worth USD 50,000 was a brainchild of Dr. Evegeny Usachev.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dawulagala, an expert in the field said this new addition will be of immense use to Sri Lanka Police.
Ambassador of Russia to Sri Lanka Yury B. Materiy, Russian scientist Olgo Usacheva, SSP Dawulagala and Coordinating Secretary to the President Senaka Abeygunasekara were also present on the occasion.
