Afghan Ambassador calls on State Minister
November 05, 2019The Ambassador of Afghanistan in Sri Lanka, H.E Mr. M Ashraf Haidari met the Minister of Mass Media and State Minister of Defence, Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene at the Ministry, today (05 November).
During the meeting a cordial discussion was held between Minister Wijewardene and the Afghan Ambassador on a number of matters including maintaining bilateral defence ties and battling drug trafficking. They also exchanged view on enhancing the existing political and economic relations between both countries.
Mementos were also exchanged during the occasion.
