Kallarawa Village massacre

On 25th May 1995, LTTE terrorists recommenced their bloody ethnic cleansing campaign against Sinhalese and Muslims by attacking Kallarawa fishing village in Trincomalee.

A group consisting over 100 LTTE terrorists armed with swords, machetes, axes and firearms stormed the village resided by fisher folks belonging to Sinhalese, Muslims and Tamil ethnicities, and butchered 42 civilians.

The terrorists carried out house-to-house massacre against the poor fishing families, tortured children to death and killed the parents by hacking them. Majority of the victims were women and children. Police found 15 survivors with serious cut wounds.


Mangalagama Village massacre

On 21st October 1995, LTTE terrorists carried out 3 brutal village massacres in three districts in the same night.

A group of LTTE terrorists armed with firearms and sharp weapons stormed Mangalagama Sinhalese village in Batticaloa. The terrorists killed 16 civilians including women and children in their usual barbaric manner - repeatedly attacking them with sharp weapons.

In the same week LTTE carried our six other village massacres.


Monarathanna Village massacre

On 21st October 1995, in the same night they massacred a village in Batticaloa, over 100 LTTE cadres armed with sharp weapons and firearms attacked Monarathanna Sinhalese village in Polonnaruwa.

The terrorists carried out a house-to-house massacre butchering 36 civilians, including infants, children and women after subjecting them to brutal torture. Police found 12 survivors bearing serious cut wounds.


Galtalawa Village Massacre

On 21st October 1995, LTTE terrorists carried out their third cowardly village massacre for the day at Galtalawa in Padaviya.

Police found 19 inhumanely mutilated bodies of victims including of infants, women and children. All the victims were tortured to death with swords, machetes and axes.


Athimalai/Kotiyagla village massacre

On 23rd October 1995, a group consisting over 100 LTTE cadres armed with sharp weapons and firearms stormed Athimalai and Kotiyagla hamlets in Monaragala. The terrorists butchered 19 civilians including women and children. One survived with serious cut injuries.


Panama Village attack

On 25th October 1995, a group of LTTE terrorists abducted 8 civilians of Panama Muslim village in Ampara. Heavily mutilated bodies of the victims found next morning by the police. All the victims were tortured to death with their bodies ripped open with sharp weapons


Thammannahalmillewa Village massacre

On 26th October 1995, a group of LTTE terrorists armed with firearms and sharp weapons stormed Thammannahalmillewa ancient Sinhalese village in Anuradhapura and butchered 26 civilians.

In their usual barbaric fashion, terrorists carried out the house-to-house massacre killing the children before their parents and then torturing the men and women to death. The majority of the victims were women and children.

Police found 27 survivors including children with serious cut wounds caused by swords and machetes


Alapathwewa Village massacre

On 26th October 1995, on the same night that they butchered a village in Anuradhapura, LTTE terrorists attacked Alapathwewa ancient Sinhalese village in Welioya.

A terrorist group consisting over 100 armed with sharp weapons, clubs and firearms stormed the village shortly after the midnight and carried out their usual orgy of violence butchering 26 civilians, including infants, pregnant woman and children.


Siyamalanduwa Village attack

On 2nd November 1995, a group of terrorists stormed Siyambalanduwa village in Monaragala and butchered 5 civilians including children with swords and machetes.

The terrorists could not achieve their intended kill in this attack as the villagers have recommenced their practice of sleeping in the jungle hideouts for safety.
