Another LTTE Submersible vehicle uncovered - Vellamullivaikkal

A submersible vehicle used by the LTTE
terrorists was uncovered from the seas about 500m off Vellamullivaikkal
beach in Mullaittivu last evening, 18 July.
Intelligence and security sub group of 56 Division has
located the LTTE submersible vehicle based on information received by an
informant, military sources said.
With the assistance of troops of Task Force 8 (TF-8)
the submersible vehicle was brought ashore and details of length and
width of this underwater craft are yet to be revealed.
Earlier, on 14th June, troops of the Task Force -8,
while conducting search and clearing operations at the
Vellamullaivaikkal coast, Mullaittivu have uncovered same type LTTE
submersible vehicle and its was 24ft long and 4ft height.
