LTTE used vehicles uncovered - Batticaloa

The security forces personnel who were conducting continuous search operations in the Batticaloa area uncovered vehicles which had been left behind by the fleeing terrorists during the Thoppigala debacle.

A tractor (without trailer) was uncovered by the troops in the search operation launched at Dangeliyadda in Batticaloa this morning, October 28.

Meanwhile, the troops uncovered a Tata Cab from the same area while conducting the search operation on tip off from civilian sources yesterday, October 27. The recovery was made at 1:00 p.m. and few medical items were also among the recoveries, defence sources added.
