4 farmers killed, 4 injured in LTTE genocidal attack

LTTE terrorists continuing with its spree of genocidal
attacks and village massacres have killed 4 more farmers at Menikdeniya
in the Kadawathmadu area, East of Welikanda yesterday (March 25) at
around 10 p.m.
Four farmers who escaped with gunshot injuries are now
receiving treatment at the Government Hospital at Polonnaruwa, Welikanda
Police said.
The farmers were at a thresh floor working with a
thresh mill when LTTE terrorists attacked with indiscriminate small arms
fire, Police said citing the injured.
The Welikanda Police is conducting further
investigations while combined Army and Police search operations are
