Over 10,000 hostages being rescued by 59 Div troops - Wadduvakal View Video Over an estimated number of 10,000 hostages are now being rescued by the 59 Division troops at the Wadduvakal causeway. According to military, the hostages have breached through the LTTE inner cordon leaving terrorists in total disarray. The rescue operation is continuing amidst indiscriminate LTTE small arms attack at the hostages, security sources said adding that injured are also being shifted for immediate medical attention.
