Prabhakaran's parents in a welfare village Terror leader Prabhakaran's father, Veraswami Thiruwengadam Velupillai and mother Velupillai Parvathi Pillai  of seventy-nine years of age had been identified by military authorities while living inside one of the welfare villages in Vavuniya, Today (28 May). Late LTTE leader's parents who had sought refuge with others after exiting from Puthumattalan area, are now highly pleased with welfare facilities at the welfare camp including those set up to provide medical facilities and other welfare facilities by the Government.
