Navy SVU chairperson meets Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa Chairperson of Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanith Unit and wife of newly appointed Navy Commander, Mrs Malathei Samarasinghe meets Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa, chairperson of Defence Ministry's Seva Vanith Unit (SVU) yesterday, 30 July. A brief discussion was held between Mrs Rajapaksa and Mrs Samarasighe on welfare projects underway on behalf of the war heroes. A few members of the Defence Minsitry's SVU were also participated at the occasion.
