Ex LTTE Child soldiers directed to a Colombo school

The Ex-LTTE child soldiers who surrendered to the Security Forces have been directed to a Colombo school to continue their studies.

According to the Justice Ministry official, they were directed to a special school affiliated to the Hindu College in Ratmalana recently. As the first batch, 141 ex-child soldiers were admitted to the new school last afternoon while the second batch will be admitted before the end of this month.

There are nearly 600 child soldiers who have been surrendered have been rehabilitated at the Ambepussa and Punthottam rehabilitation camps.
