Children of war heroes receive scholarships Children of war heroes were awarded with scholarships by H.E the President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees today (Nov 16). The scholarship recipients were children of security forces personnel, who had made their supreme sacrifice and those injured during the humanitarian operation. First Lady Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Chairperson of the MOD Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa were also present at the occasion.
