Troops recover more military items Vavunia: Sri Lanka Army troops of 61 Division engaging the search and clear operations in the general area Periyathampanai recovered  24  AP mines, 02 Rocket launcher bombs (40mm), 01 mortar bomb (60mm) and one claymore bomb yesterday (2nd January 2010). Meanwhile some troops doing the clear operations in general area Puliyankulam found one AP mine and one 60mm mortar bomb. Mullaittivu: Troops of Task Force 2 recovered 30 AP mines and one electric mine during the clearing operations they did in general area Puthukkudiyiruppu and troops of 68 Division found one Radio set (No. VX150-SCR:4K091613) in general area Puthukkudiyiruppu West. Batticaloa: Troops of 23 Division doing the search operations in general area Thihilaweddi found  2 AP mines, 2 Fuse and one unidentified Hand Grenade yesterday.
