University to hold convocation after lapse of 3 years The University of Jaffna will hold its Convocation after three years, on February 26, 27, 28 Vice Chancellor of the University Professor N Shanmugalingam said. He said it will be held at Kailasapathi Auditorium, in the University, officially attended by the Chancellor Professor Sivasooriya, retired Gynecologist and Obstetrician. Nearly 3000 students will be awarded degrees. There will also be an awarding of post-graduate degrees by the faculty of graduate studies at the same convocation , Professor N Shanmugalingam added .
