Fox Hill Supercross thrills and spills today

The 18th Fox Hill Supercross, conducted by the Sri Lanka Military Academy in conjunction with the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR), will be worked off today (Saturday), at Diyatalawa.

Fox Hill is the showpiece of Motorcross in Sri Lanka and Hans Ralf Karpensky of SLARDAR was instrumental in designing the track. The Fox Hill Supercross started in 1993. The track has been further improved with the assistance of the SLMA.

The objective of the SLMA is to generate funds required to improve and maintain the infrastructure facilities of the SLMA to be on par with similar academies in the region.

The President of SLARDAR, Rodney Mason, together with the Army Commander, Lt. General Jagath Jayasuriya and the Commandant, SLMA, Brigadier J. R. Kulatunga, have spared no pains to make this event a success, where thrills and spills could be witnessed by thousands of motor sports enthusiasts and holiday makers.
