Ayurvedic mobile unit handed over to the department of indigenous medicine

Ayurvedic Mobile Unit was handed over to the Department of Indigenous Medicine at Agriculture Complex, Varothaya Nagar, Trincomalee by the Northern Province Governor Major General G A Chandrasiri on 26 July 2010. This Mobile service will operate in Mullathivu District and will perform an immense service to the resettled people in the area.

The chief Secretary,Secretary to the Gorvernor, Secretary of Provincial Ministry of Health and IM, DCS/Planning, Director/Planning of Health, other secretaries and higher officials were present at the event. This Mobile Unit was fabricated with a cost of about five millions Sri Lankan rupees and this is the first time of the history of Sri Lankan Ayurveda.
