Army's "Wave" Symposium to be held under President's patronage

The 'Wave' Symposium and the ICT exhibition organized by the Sri Lanka Army Signals Corps is scheduled to commence at the BMICH in Colombo, tomorrow (28 November). According to Army media, the international symposium is being held to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Signals Corps.

President Maithripala Sirisena will grace the inauguration as the chief guest.

A number of local and international intellectuals, high ranking military officers and industry experts are expected to attend the symposium and deliver lectures. The two-day ICT exhibition (28 & 29) with more than 160 stalls showcasing new technological inventions and innovations in the industry will be open to the public.
