Bangladesh Navy ship arrives

Making a five-day goodwill visit, 'Somudra Joy', a Bangladesh Naval Ship arrived in the country, today (12 September). The ship was accorded a traditional welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival at the Colombo Port.

The 115.2m long and 13.1m wide ship carries a crew of 278. The crew is scheduled to take part in a number of events organized by the SL Navy before the ship's departure on Sunday (16).
