Coastguard conducts lifesaving training programmes in Mullaithivu

The Sri Lanka Coastguard conducted a series of lifesaving training programmes for the benefit of the communities living in Mullaithivu District, recently. According to Coastguard media, these programmes carried were out in keeping with the 'Rata Wenuwen Ekata Sitimu' programme national programme held in the Mullaithivu from the 03rd to 08th (June).

Contributing their share of expertise, SLCG personnel of the Life Saving Training School had conducted these lifesaving training programmes for the civil populace of the district with the intention to educate and train them of proper procedures and methods of lifesaving to follow during emergency situations.
