Joint Commander of the French Forces deployed in the Indian Ocean meets State Minister

Joint Commander of the French Forces deployed in the Indian Ocean, Rear Admiral Didier Piaton paid a courtesy call on the State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene at the Ministry premises today (10th October).

Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka HE Mr. Jean-Marin Schuh was also present at the occasion.

A cordial discussion was held between State Minister Wijewardene and Rear Admiral Piaton on matters of mutual interests and bilateral relevance.

Mementoes were also exchanged during the occasion.
