Naval personnel donate blood in Jaffna

Sri Lanka Navy personnel serving in the Northern Naval Command donated blood during a blood donation campaign held at the Northern Naval Command hospital, on 29th November.

According to navy media, around one hundred and forty (140) Naval personnel serving in establishments, ships and craft belonging to the Northern Naval Command voluntarily donated blood during the campaign.

The programme was conducted in cooperation with the medical staff at the blood bank of the Teaching Hospital, Jaffna. This campaign was organized for the third time this year for the benefit of the patients in the region.
