President Visits SLAF Base in Katunayake
President Maithripala Sirisena, Commander-in-Chief
of the Armed Forces visited the Sri Lanka
Air Force (SLAF) Base, Katunayake yesterday evening (10th Friday,

Basnayake and the Commander of the Sri
Lanka Air Force Air Marshal GP Bulathsinghala accompanied the
President during the visit.
At the outset of the programme, President Sirisena
was accorded with a Presidential Guard of
honour replete with military customs.

measures of tri-service personnel with a view of
uplifting them to lead a comfortable life.

President Sirisena planted a tree sapling in the
base premises to mark the visit.
