President declares open newly built Civil Security Department Headquarters

President Maithripala Sirisena declared opened the newly built Civil Security Department (CSD) Headquarters in Katubedda, Moratuwa, on Tuesday (04 June). The new facility, a long felt need of the CSD was built at a coast of Rs.120 million. The President was received by the Director General of Civil Security Department Mr. Chandrarathna Pallegama upon his arrival at the venue.

State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene, State Minister of Finance Hon. Eran Wickramaratne, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General (Rtd) SHS Kottegoda, Secretary to the State Ministry of Defence Mr. NKGK Nemmawatta, Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, heads of Tri forces and police, officers and staff of the Department were also present at the occasion.
