Secretary Defences opens 'Board Walk' at Diyatha

Board Walk restaurant the newest
addition to the Diyatha Uyana was declared open by
Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya
Rajapaksa this evening (31st December).
This two storied restaurant built in
the banks of Diyawanna Oya will provide a unique dining
experience to the people who patronise the Diyatha Uyana
daily. The multi faceted Diyatha Uyana complex, a
brainchild of the Secretary Defence and Urban
Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa has become a
sensation among the diverse crowd which is drawn towards
it daily. The Diyatha Uyana comprises of many
recreational facilities including picturesque
environment for photography, children's play area,
breath taking and peaceful environment for family
outings, waling path for the health conscious, various
trade stalls and also a fabulous water fountain which
ads much colour to the whole setting.
The 'Broad Walk Restaurant' would be
the perfect setting for visitors who would like to wine
and dine at leisure with family and friends. Easy access
from the city and the peaceful ambiance will no doubt
make Board Walk one of the most sought after restaurants
in Colombo. The restaurant can accommodate about 200
guests for weddings, corporate events, get-togethers or
other such events. The opening of the restaurant
coinciding with the New Year celebrations has added much
colour to the whole celebratory atmosphere.
With the food and beverages served in

was present at the occasion.
