A total of 330 Sri Lankan expats scheduled to arrive from Dubai today
July 31, 2020Resuming repatriation for Sri Lankan nationals awaiting their return from overseas, Emirates Airlines flight, EK 648 carrying 330 Sri Lankan expats from Dubai, is scheduled to arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) by 1145 p.m. today (July 31), Airport Duty Manager, said.
This initiative was taken along with the government’s decision to recommence the repatriation along with the easing of pandemic spread situation and the availability of quarantine facilities.
According to Additional Secretary to the President for Foreign Relations, Admiral (Retd) Prof. Jayanath Colombage, the second batch is scheduled to arrive at the BIA from Abu Dhabi tomorrow (Aug 1).
