Anti-drugs Operations
October 25, 2020The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic Bureau conducted anti-drugs operations last week and arrested a total of 24 persons, including drug peddlers, following effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 35.371 kilos and 374 milligrams of Heroin, 03 kilos of local cannabis, 245.925 kilos and 585 milligrams of Karala Cannabis, 4890 litres of Goda and 1.5 litres of Kasippu were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
Compared to the last week, the arrested amount of Karala Cannabis are higher.
