A total of 58,697 persons completed quarantine so far - NOCPCO

Along with the total of 335 Coronavirus positives identified yesterday (28), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka increased to 9,205 according to the Epidemiology Unit, Health Ministry.

The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said a total of 58,697 persons have returned to their homes on completion of the quarantine process as of today (29).

NOCPCO also indicates that the confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster has increased to 5,731 and 1,041 out of them were staffers of the apparel industry.

A total of 7,039 persons are isolated in military-managed 70 quarantine centres as of today (29).

Along with 7,870 PCR tests conducted yesterday, the total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 477,156, NOCPCO also said.
