Anti-drugs Operations
November 30, 2020The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic conducted anti-drugs operations last week, and arrested a total of 23 persons including drug peddlers, following an effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 125 Kilos and 548 grams of Heroin, 3.730 Kilos of Local Cannabis, 5.455 Kilos of Kerala Cannabis and 40 Litres of Kasippu were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
Compared to the last week, arrested amount of Heroin is higher in numbers.
