Pandemic Control Operations
February 22, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 79,999 confirmed cases were reported up to 21 Feb, making it the total number of cases reported in the country. 74,229 patients were recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 445 as of 21 Feb. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
