UN Secretary General and other world leaders telephone President to convey condolences and extend fullest support
Several world leaders and the United Nations UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres telephoned President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (24th April) to convey their condolences and to condemn the brutal attacks on innocent civilians on Easter Sunday. Furthermore, they expressed their deepest sympathy and condolence to the families of the victims and to the Government and the people of Sri Lanka and they wished speedy and full recovery of those injured.
