Another PNB officer accused over drug trafficking arrested
July 08, 2020Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has arrested another Police Constable (PC) of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB), accused over collaborating with drug peddlers, on Tuesday (July 07).
The alleged PNB officer was arrested in Ragama as the 17th suspect in the ongoing investigations into a nexus between PNB officers and drug traffickers.
Meanwhile, Inspector of Police (IP) Wasantha Kumara also attached to the PNB, wanted for involving in the alleged drug racket surrendered to the Kadawatha Police yesterday.
