A total of 7,682 PCR tests conducted yesterday
October 27, 2020Along with 541 Coronavirus positives identified yesterday (Oct 26), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka has increased to 8,413, and all the patients have been locally identified, the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry said.
The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) indicated that, confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster has increased to 4,941 and 1,041 out of them were staffers of the apparel industry.
A total of 8,090 persons are isolated in military-managed 75 quarantine centres as of today (27).
Along with 7,682 PCR tests conducted yesterday, the number of total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 458,518, the NOCPCO said.
The count of Coronavirus deaths in the island remains at 16 as of today.
