The 12th National War Heroes commemoration ceremony was held at the National War Hero Cenotaph in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte under the auspices of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces His Excellency the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the country’s 5th Executive President and Hon. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa a short while ago today (May 19).
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed the relevant authorities to impose travel restrictions between all provinces, cancel all gatherings and functions, limit the number of people who enter and stay in commercial establishments and to isolate the areas where infected people are identified in large numbers until May 30.
