More restrictions to get rid of the virus
May 10, 2021President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed the relevant authorities to impose travel restrictions between all provinces, cancel all gatherings and functions, limit the number of people who enter and stay in commercial establishments and to isolate the areas where infected people are identified in large numbers until May 30.
The President has also instructed to follow the proper procedures while ensuring that the lives of the people are not disrupted and the essential services are continued in the meantime.
President expressed these remarks during a discussion had with all the stakeholders to put an end to the covid-19 epidemic, the President’s Media division said.
