Sri Lankan expats brought to SL from London sent to quarantine centres
May 04, 2020A group of 208 Sri Lankan expatriates from London, who were brought to the country under the directives of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Sunday, have sent to quarantine centres.
A special fight – UL 504 of the Sri Lankan Airlines- flew from London with the group which was sent to quarantine centres run by Sri Lanka Army after initial medical check-ups.
The Sri Lankan expatriates were stranded in the UK due to the prevailing coronavirus pandemic.
