Navy recovers dumped RPG, mortar and hands grenades
May 14, 2020Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) recovered a reserve of Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPG), Mortar and Hand Grenades during a search operation in Chalai yesterday (12).
The search operation along the coastline conducted by the Northern Naval Command, recovered three 81mm mortar and hand grenades each, and five RPGs. Following to an inspection, these heavily corroded items were disposed by Navy’s bomb disposal unit.
