Police curfew to further continue in Colombo and Gampaha districts
May 14, 2020Police curfew imposed in the Colombo and Gampaha districts, identified as high risk zones due to the Coronavirus pandemic is to continue until further notice.
Meanwhile, the curfew temporarily eased-off in the remaining districts will continue as notified till May 16, subject to re-imposing of curfew from 8p.m to 5a.m, daily.
Island-wide curfew to be imposed on May 17 whole day will be temporarily eased-off from Monday (18) to Saturday (23) without any alteration to curfew timings from 8p.m to 5a.m, daily.
The public is also requested to adhere to best practices, health guidelines and notifications issued by authorities pertinent to containment of the coronavirus, at all times.
