Maligawatta shooting suspects produced before Courts
June 02, 2020Three suspects connected to Laksetha Sevana Housing Complex shooting incident in Maligawatta, have been produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate Court today (June 2).
The main suspect involved in the shooting incident was nabbed near Kotahena area in a search operation led by the Special Task Force (STF), last night (June 1).
During the arrest, a revolver in their possession, was also taken into the custody by the STF.
The 31-year- old suspect, a resident of Grand Pass, was handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) for further investigations.
Another two suspects involved in the incident were also arrested in the same evening from Wellampitiya and Maligawatta areas.
