Police nab a suspect with army uniforms and ammunition.
July 18, 2020Police have taken a suspect with military uniforms, five grams of heroin, two rounds of live rounds, four empty magazines, two sharp illegal scalpels and a three-wheeler, yesterday.
He will be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court for legal proceedings today (18), the Police said.
The 39-year-old suspect, a resident of Arangala area in Athurugiriya, was arrested during a special raid carried out by the Athurugiriya Police following a tip-off yesterday.
Athurugiriya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
