Health Ministry opens hotline 1999 for COVID-19 related information
October 18, 2020Director General of Health Services (DGHS) informed the public to call Health Promotion Bureau’s hotline 1999 to get all the information regarding COVID-19, said the Government Information Department yesterday (Oct 17).
Accordingly, information on measures for prevention from COVID-19 as well as other relevant directions could be obtained.
The service is available for 24 hours in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages. The public can contact the doctors for the relevant assistance.
