Coronavirus positives recoveries rose to 11324
November 15, 2020The total recovered from Coronavirus positives rose to 11324 while a total of 5206 Coronavirus infected persons are undergoing medical treatments at hospitals, according to the Epidemiology Unit (EU) of the Health Ministry statistics issued today morning (Nov 15).
Further, 16583 Coronavirus positives have been reported in Sri Lanka while Sri Lanka's death toll remains at 53.
According to the statement of the Government Information Department, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases reported from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda cluster is 13084. This includes 175 locally-identified contacts.
It also stated that 389 more persons were confirmed positive for the virus, during the past 24 hours,.
Meanwhile, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated, about 30,000 persons of first and second contacts of COVID-19 positive cases are in self-quarantine.
