Isolation in several areas to be lifted tomorrow (23)
November 22, 2020Isolation announced for Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort, and Slave Island Police areas in the Colombo District will be lifted from tomorrow morning (23) 5 am, the Government Information Department said.
Wekanda Grama Niladari Division in the Slave Island Police Area and Wanathamulla Grama Niladari Division in the Borella Police Area will remain isolated, the announcement also said.
Further, Mattakkuliya, Modara, Grandpass, Bloemendhal, Kotahena, Port area, Dam Street, Pettah, Keselwatta, Maligawatta, Dematagoda, and Maradana Police areas in the Colombo District will remain in isolation until further notice.
Ja-Ela and Kadawatha Police areas in Gampaha District will be reopened from tomorrow and Negombo, Wattala, Peliyagoda, Ragama, and Kelaniya Police areas will also remain in isolation, it also said.
