SLAF Jukoda meets Air Force Chief prior to Olympics
July 06, 2021Corporal Chamara Dharmawardhane, Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Judo Player, who was selected to represent Sri Lanka at the forthcoming Tokyo Olympics, was felicitated by the Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana recently.
Extending best wishes to the SLAF Judoka, the SLAF Commander presented a playing kit and promoted to the next rank with effect from Aug 1, 2021, the SLAF said.
He was selected to represent Sri Lanka at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and secured the 9th place.
He will be competing at the 73 kilos weight class during this year’s Olympics.
