Chairperson presides over Executive Committee Meeting
June 11, 2019An Executive Committee Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry was held, today (11 June). The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence (MoD SVU) Mrs. Soniya Kottegoda.
The meeting commenced with observing of a two-minute silence in memory of the fallen War Heroes. A number of matters relating to ongoing projects and future programmes of the SVU were taken up for discussion at the meeting.
Heads of the Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Units and representatives from other SVUs of the Navy, Police, Civil Security Department, MoD SVU members were also present at the occasion.
