Seva Vanitha holds Dhamma sermon
June 05, 2019A Dhamma sermon was conducted at the Ministry by the Seva Vanitha Unit, today (04). The sermon was conducted by the Chief Prelate of the Vipassi Meditation Centre in Colombo, Ven. Ududumbara Kashyapa Thero.
The sermon was held in view of the Vesak and Poson poya celebrations and also to usher blessing on the victims of the Easter Sunday bombings and all War Heroes who had lost their lives and limbs for the country. The religious ceremony also coincided with the duty assumtion of the new SVU chairperson.
Chairperson of the MOD SVU Mrs. Soniya Kottegoda, senior Ministry officials, President of the Air Force SVU and a large number of Ministry employees were present at the occasion.
